You must visit a wet market in Malaysia and sample all the local Malaysia street food if you get a chance. We are in George Town, Penang and are visiting Pulau Tikus morning wet market for breakfast. The wet market is a hive of activity with people buying fresh produce, meats (both halal and non-halal) and seafood. We're here for a Malaysian breakfast....
-Pandan putu mayung/putu mayam from Uncle Joe which are freshly steamed string hoppers made from a rice flour, salt, water and pandan juice mixture.
-Chee cheong fun
- A variety of Nyonya kuih; and
-Kopi and Koay Teow Th'ng (a noodle soup with chicken and fish balls)
Pulau Tikus wet market is well worth a visit when you're in Penang!
3, Jalan Pasar, Pulau Tikus, 10350 George Town, Pulau Pinang

No entiendo nada de lo que dicen porque solo se español, pero me encantan sus videos. Son una pareja genial. Me relaja mucho ver estos videos de street food india, thailand, etc. Saludos desde México. Excelente su canal
Indian food, then Chinese food for breakfast? You guys have military-grade stomach.
Chee Cheong fan sometimes has pawn paste not Hoi shin sauce
Pulau tikus has a few nice foods like pasembur.. chinese pancakes Hokkien mee..
You like kaya.. but do you know there are many types of kaya..
Best Chee Cheong Fun I’ve ever had in Malaysia was in Taman Tan Yew Lai in KL or Selangor (I’m not sure) Every other CCF pales in comparison.
I think pandan is called screwpine??
How to know whether the food is good or not? sheena will say "uhm uhm uhm" (3 times) if it's good. One if it's just so-so. hahahaha.
love your video so much about Malaysian food..

My favourite, Putu Mayam. Sadly the nice ones are hard to find.
Try some Penang Hokkien Mee ( basically like Mee Udang , but Chinese version , so with addition of pork bits too ) and Penang curry mee ( a different style compared to other curry mees in Malaysia , with a lighter base broth ) the next time you got back to Penang!

Cereal and oatmeal or just toast with jam is not my thing... Anytime Noodles dry, fried or soup, nasi lemak, thosai etc with cham, tea or coffee ice for Breakfast

Sheena, it not kuay teow 'thang' it's 't-ng' lol. It's so much fun when you pronounced all the names of the dishes.
